spent over 40 years researching, advocating,
and training on these very questions.
Our Women and Work course takes you on a
journey through the intersections of gender,
labor, and power—unpacking how state
policies, patriarchy, and social norms shape
women’s participation in the workforce. From
the politics of care work to the hidden
struggles of informal labor, this course
challenges what we know and pushes us to
imagine new possibilities.
